The room was as described and very clean and tidy! The location of the travelodge is perfect for short stays with a selection of different food options very close by. The service was fabulous! Julie was a huge help at helping me find a spare iPhone charger to use when I realised I had forgotten one! She was a life saver. Thank you Julie x
Lots of shops and food places around beds are a bit hard but comfortable I recommend it shop across the road with Starbucks next to it. Next to the hotel thrs a breakfast place and dominos it has no knifes ,forks or spoons. Just 2 mugs with 2 tea spoons so I would recommend bringing some . Bathroom was amazing but the bath and shower was confuseing I thought I turned on the bath and got a full head of boiling water on my head buy yet the room is amazing
Easy check in with Julie who was very helpful regarding taxi for the morning to the races. Room was spotlessly clean, small but modern. Bathroom was spotless, nice shower and towels. Free parking was ideal, few shops and plenty off fast food places. Added bonus for us was a Starbucks over the rd 0.6 miles from our room. Multi plex cinema and I noticed a Bingo hall if that's something you like. Very friendly little hotel, Julie available on reception and nothing seemed to much trouble
Had to wait around a while before checking as there was a, back in a minute sign on the desk! The room was clean and tidy but the noise from the main road is a little annoying when trying to sleep. I thought it was a little expensive for a wednesday night stay. It's in a good location if you like MacDonalds, KFC or Nandos!
Had an overnight stay recently. Service wise,people skills are somewhat lacking,both when checking in and leaving. Staff seemed liked they didn’t want to be there,and it was reflected in their demure and somber demeanour and lack of engagement when trying to converse with them. There was almost a hostel/homeless vibe going in the small reception area. Room was spot on,modern,tidy,clean and just right for a short stay. Location,spot on,lot of amenities nearby and ample parking overall. Easy access to rest of the city.
If you have a dog don't bother paying for it to stay, just book yourself in then afterwards just walk it in as if you had
